Halle Berry A natural performer

About
Halle Berry
|
|
A natural performer, Berry earned a
handful of beauty pageant titles during the early 1980s, including Miss Teen
Ohio and Miss Teen America. She was eventually awarded first runner-up in
the 1985 Miss U.S.A. competition. For a short time she attended Cleveland’s
Cuyahoga Community College, where she studied broadcast journalism. However,
Berry abandoned her idea of a career in news reporting before receiving her
degree. Choosing to wholeheartedly devote her time to a career in
entertainment, Berry moved to Chicago then New York City, where she found
work as a catalog model.

Halle Berry's Birthday |
Halle Berry was born on August 14, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA to African
American father Jerome Berry, a former hospital attendant, and Caucasian
mother Judith Berry, a retired psychiatric nurse. Halle also has an older
sister named Heidi. Halle first came into the spotlight at 17 years old when
she won the Miss Teen All-American Pageant, representing the state of Ohio
in 1985 and a year later in 1986 when she was the first runner-up in the
Miss USA Pageant. After participating in the pageant, Halle became a model.
It eventually led to her first weekly TV series, 1989's "Living Dolls"
(1989),

Halle Berry as Actress
|
|
As the ‘80s turned into the ‘90s, the aspiring actress began a career in
television with a role on the short-lived sitcom Living Dolls (1989),
followed by a year-long run on the CBS prime-time drama Knot’s Landing, in
1991. Berry’s first big-screen break came later that year when she was cast
as Samuel L. Jackson’s drug-addicted girlfriend in Spike Lee’s Jungle Fever.
More substantial supporting roles followed, including that of a stripper in
the action-thriller The Last Boy Scout (1991), starring Bruce Willis; and as
the woman who finally wins Eddie Murphy’s heart in the romantic comedy
Boomerang (1992).
With a few films under her belt, Berry accepted more offbeat roles, making
cameos in the rockumentary CB4 (1993), which traced the rise and fall of the
titled rap group. 1994’s live-action version of The Flintstones featured
Berry as a Stone Age seductress.
Berry offered a no-holds-barred performance as a rehabilitated crack addict
seeking to regain custody of her son in Losing Isaiah (1995). In the midst
of a bitter custody battle with adoptive parents played by Jessica Lange and
David Strathairn, Berry was noted for her believable portrayal in the
unglamorous role. Later that year, Berry overcame Hollywood’s racial
barriers when she was cast as the first African-American to play the Queen
of Sheeba in Showtime’s movie Solomon & Sheeba. |

| Halle Berry Rocks the Cleavage |
|
|
You know, I
don't really feel like coming up with some lame premise to justify
posting these Halle Berry pictures.
It's Halle Berry showing a ton of cleavage. That's post-worthy all by
itself.
I refuse to believe that she's 40.

So, Is Halle Berry Pregnant? |
So,
have you ever congratulated a woman on being pregnant, only to find out
that she isn't? Kinda sucks for both you and her, doesn't it.
Thankfully, I have a whole World Wide Web between me and Halle Berry
(wait, thankfully?), so I can ask the question without having to
experience the personal embarrasement of insinuating that she might just
have a bit of a tummy.
But seriously, if Halle Berry isn't pregnant, than something is
definitely up. Maybe she's pulling a Janet Jackson, or maybe she had a
really big lunch. I mean a really big lunch. Like, a baby-sized lunch.

| Halle Berry's Boyfriend is Prettier Than
She Is |
|
Halle Berry will always be one of the most beautiful women in the world, but
it looks like she's got some competition. Namely, her boyfriend, model
Gabriel Aubry.
Maybe it's because she's not wearing any makeup (which she doesn't really
need), or that she's dressed all "Plain Jane" in jeans and t-shirt, not
wearing a sparkling gown, but that pretty-boy of hers is totally stealing
the show, and I'm secure enough in my manhood to say that.
I just hope she doesn't take him to castings, otherwise she might find
herself out a part. Frankly, I'm think this should be a Gabriel Aubrey post
at this point, because I've almost forgotten about Halle. Almost. |

X-Men 3: The Last Stand |
So,
was it good? Well, if you are a fan of the first two X-Men movies, you have
nothing to fear going into this one. Yes, it's true, in the case of X-Men
fans vs. Brett Ratner, the director aquitted himself nicely. It could be the
post-movie adrenaline talking here, or the caffeine from that 1.5 litre
Coca-Cola, but I might even go so far as to say it's better than the others.
Yes, I really did just say that.
The action was great, but there was still a lot of the character
development, and pacing that made the first two movies what they were.
Story-wise, this movie takes a lot of chances, and they pay off, big time.
Sure, there were a few cheesey lines, but they were few and far between, and
the best characters are still the best characters.
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine was as good as ever, Ian McKellen once again kicks
ass as Magneto, and no one can replace Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles
Xavier. Even Halle Berry as Storm finally got her moment to shine, though
the lameness of the character was hard to overcome, so it's not really her
fault, though, she could have tried to bring a little more life to it. New
characters like Kitty Pryde played by Ellen Page, Juggernaut played by
Vinnie Jones, and, of course, Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Hank McCoy (aka Beast)
were great additions that added new life to the series. There were also a
ton of secondary mutant characters that were pretty cool too
