About
Kristin Kreuk
|
|
Kristin Kreuk is the talk of
Tinseltown as one of TV's hottest new stars to watch. Kristin is turning
heads and impressing viewers in two popular television series: the teen
drama Edgemont, and Smallville. Kristin Kreuk is still young, and her
defiant personality exposes that she is more a product of high school and
adolescence than a lifetime of yearning for stardom. She is never afraid to
be curt with interviewers when they try to engage her in the usual banter,
repeatedly insisting that she is "boring."
There is little doubt that Kristin's beauty is the first thing one notices
about her. Her skin has a unique, radiant and exotic tone, owing to her half
Chinese, half Dutch lineage, while her hazel eyes and plump lips complement
her coy smile. Besides, she's got to be gorgeous if she makes Superman weak
in the knees.

Kristin Kreuk's Birthday |
|
Kristin Laura Kreuk was born on December 30th, 1982, in Vancouver, Canada.
The carefree daughter of a Dutch father and Chinese mother, Kristin
proceeded through her schooling as an unassuming yet attention-getting girl.
She enjoyed acting classes, but was not serious about the trade. |
Kristin Kreuk as Actress
|
|
During her senior year of high school, a casting director seeking an
"exotic" looking girl for a new TV series cast Kreuk in Edgemont, a Canadian
family drama. Shortly after, the actress landed a role on Smallville, which,
like Edgemont, is filmed in Vancouver. The busy actress worked on both
series at the same time.
In addition to her two popular teenage dramas, Kreuk starred in the
made-for-television version of Snow White and the TV miniseries Legend of
Earthsea. She also appeared in the film EuroTrip. Following in the footsteps
of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mandy Moore, Kreuk was a spokesperson for
Neutrogena.

While not
all of my favourite shows have made the jump to The CW, the new pairing
of The WB and UPN, I'm happy enough with those that have. And why is
that? Because pretty much all the hotties I love are staying.
Alexis Bledel and Kristen Bell will be heating up Tuesday nights with
The Gilmore Girls followed by Veronica Mars. Wednesday nights have Tyra
Banks and the girls from America's Next Top Model followed by One Tree
Hill with Hilarie Burton, Sophia Bush, and Bethany Joy Galeotti
(formerly Lenz). Thursdays is staying the same as it was on The WB with
Kristen Kreuk, Alison Mack and Erica Durance on Smallville, followed by
Supernatural, but I don't watch that show because there are no hot girls
on that one.
Sadly, Everwood got cut at the last minute to make room for 7th Heaven
to return with Beverly Mitchell, so we'll be saying goodbye to Emily Van
Camp and Sarah Drew since they didn't have a chance to go out for pilot
season. Charmed also ended this year, so no more Alyssa Milano, Rose
McGowan, or Holly Marie Combs.

Toro
Magazine is a Canadian publication that features most of the same
articles as your average artsy pop culture magazine. At least, that's
what I think it is. I've never actually bought or read an issue, but I
do know that since they are a Canadian magazine, they take pride in
putting the hottest Canadian actresses in some fairly sexy photoshoots.
Last month it was Elisha Cuthbert. This month it's Kristen Kreuk.
Excellent.
