She has successfully designed soaps operas on saas, bahus and bhabhis and brought about a revolution on television. Ekta Kapoor’s career as TV producer is only ascending. Not only has the young entrepreneur made icons of actors like Smriti Irani and Nausheen Sardar (she is the first actress to do a pakistani play), Ekta is also successfully helping her brother, by producing films for him. “I am announcing a new film, a sex comedy with Tusshar very soon,” she says from Melbourne, where she is shooting in the picturesque locales for one of her serials. And for the romantic lead opposite her brother, she has two actresses in mind — the sensuous Priyanka Chopra and the hot Antara Mali. And Ekta promises she will extract the best from whoever bags the role.
