Toddler Bedding

Toddler bedding is a comfort zone for the toddler which include blankets, pillows etc. Toddler beds also have facilities of pillows along with ornamental quilts which is included the crib bedding set, which are not suitable for use with sleeping infants. Keeping the toddler needs in mind nowadays the toddler beds are available in variety of colors and designs. The toddler bedding is a very important accessory for a child as from the time of infancy till the toddler-hood the child spends most of his time sleeping on the bed. Not only sleeping but also most of the time when mother is working in the kitchen one would find a toddler in his bed. This can be very dangerous if he is in a normal bed as he learns to toss and turn at very early age thus a toddler bed becomes very essential.

The toddler bed is a heaven for the toddlers; apart from that it needs to be open and very colorful. There should be enough space for the toddler to walk and also to walk holding the railings. The beddings with rods having hanging bells and toys are the most attractive. Words such as playful, vibrant and vivacious come in mind when we think of the toddlers and thus the bed must provide all this t the toddler. The other things that should be their t keep the toddler distracting is the color of the bedding, bright and deep colors are very distracting for toddlers especially when bright toys or bells are hanging on the bed. The bed should be picked up with care so that it provides comfort to the toddler at the nights as well as during the day time. 

Moving a toddler to his bed is like achieving a mile stone and is also stressful for them. Thus one should keeping mind that toddlers should not be moved to a new bed at stressful times, especially after when you are moving to new place or at the time of new sibling, beginning potty training and starting a new daycare etc. Try to plan the move to a bed so that it will not be at the same time as other events that may add to the stress. As the time passes and toddler grow gradually it is time for them to give up with something like the crib or bottle. It is very important for the bay to understand that now its time for him to move to the bed.

During the transition be sure that you stick to your basic routine time for sleeping and also extra care should be taken during the transition so that no sleeping problems are created. If he is really resistant to sleeping in his new bed and getting rid of his crib, then as long as he is not ready to leave his crib you should wait for few months and then try again. If you want the crib for a new baby or if he is climbing out of it then you should take it apart and put it away so that the toddler may forget it
