Toddler Pool
It’s very important to take care of your toddlers when you take them near water. And you need to take certain precautions while choosing a pool for your baby. The first thing you should keep in mind is the depth of the pool. It should be shallow enough so the baby would lie in safe and should not be drowned into it. The material should be soft and tender and should in no way affect your child’s tender body. And always take care that someone is always beside the baby when it is near water so that the baby in no way drinks the water or play any kind of pranks with the soap or foam while bathing.
If you have a toddler pool avoids your baby bathing in it. Let it stay there in clean water and play for sometime. While bathing always be there with your kids and help them bathing. You can play with your buddies while they are in the pool. A small pool or a bath tub would work as well. After bath, wash the pool with clean water or flush it. Then let it dry in the open air for sometime. That would help maintain hygiene in the pool.
The material of the pool should be such that the baby does not slip over it anytime. The pools made of tires are the best but again they get punctured soon. A plastic pool is better for cleaning and maintenance purpose. Again the toddler pools are available in variety of colors and sizes. You can choose the color your child loves. You should always prefer a pool of the size litte bigger that your kid’s size so the kid could comfortable sit and play in it.
If you have an indoor pond you can put some plastic frogs into it and let your baby make a quest for the same. The kids really enjoy doing it and its great fun. It’s again a great pleasure watching your baby searching them.
You can get him a small bucket and a tumbler to play with. Babies enjoy filling the water from the pool and drilling it out.
Again if the water is very cold the kids may pass out urine in it. So you need to make sure the water in the pool is clean or whether your child has made it dirty. If so you need to change the water else it may affect your kid’s skin.
There are some kids who don’t prefer playing with water. Toddler pools can help attracking such kids to take bath regularly. And they enjoy bathing in the pool as compared to huge bath tubs and showers.
Safety issues should always be taken care of while taking the kids near water. After the play is over you should dry clean your kid with the towel and take him safely to bed. Kids get a sweet nap after bathing in water.
If everything is safe and in right place, playing in the pool would be a great fun.
